Assalamu Alaykum everyone!
I pray you’re all doing well.
As most of you know I’m on vacation with my family in Orlando, Florida. We took a drive to Miami to go check it out as we haven’t been and I was dying to scratch that off of my bucket list.
Our first stop was to the Sugar Factory. I’ve heard all of this hype around this restaurant so I had to try it.
At first glance it doesn’t look like a place where I would want to bring my kids or family, but I have to remember it’s spring break right now for College and University students. We literally called the restaurant to see if it’s suitable for children to come inside and to see if they had a highchair for my son.
Jessica, the polite hostess that answered the phone, assured us that it is a family restaurant and that they provide highchairs.
Once you walk past the outside patio into the restaurant it’s very quiet, clean and comfortable. The interior is white and black with a touch of Pink from the flower accents on each table. Very classy and sophisticated. My type of place!
We sat down and looked through the menu. The most famous thing on the menu are their goblet drinks. They come with candy inside of them and depending which one you get, it literally goes smokey! at $34.00 USD They better do something fancy! These drinks are not just for one person. 2 people can drink these! Here’s a pic:
The food was absolutely delicious! I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup.
My youngest daughter is absolutely obsessed with home made Mac and Cheese so she was so excited to try their deep fried Mac and Cheese Pops.
My oldest daughter is absolutely obsessed with Quesadillas and Guacamole.
The love of my life ordered the Veggie burger. It was Delish!
The Sugar Factory also sells candy by bulk in the restaurant. They are most famous for their lollipops.
I am literally obsessed with the decor in this place! Who wouldn’t want to have that in their house?!
Overall, I am very pleased and impressed with this restaurant. Other than the location of course. Alhamdulillah they just opened a new location in Orlando, Florida.
So if you are ever in Orlando or Miami, stop by the Sugar Factory and grab the kids a virgin version of the Goblets! They will love it! Here’s a video we took of ours after being made right at our table!

Lastly, I highly do not recommend bringing children to Miami (South Beach), other than to see the Childrens Museum and to experience The Sugar Factory.
If you end up going let me know what you think!
